Episode 77.5 // Friday Faith Follow-up
When we’re feeling stressed, we tend to get stuck thinking about the things that are stressing us out, and the hard emotions that come with it.
But it is SO MUCH more helpful and encouraging to think instead about the truths God gives us in the Bible. He’s in control. He knows what’s happening. He is good.
Today, join me for a quick devotional look at how we can turn away from the things stressing us out and turn TOWARD God - a God who is good, who is powerful, and who always works things out for good… even when we don’t see it or understand it ourselves.
Let’s dive in.

Episode 77 // Isn’t stress fun? Wait. NO. It is never fun! But, it happens to all of us.
And typically, when we start to feel stressed, we also start to be more easily irritated, less calm, and we experience more conflict or struggle in our relationships. Whether it’s a day-to-day moment of stress or we are entering a season of life that will be stressful for awhile, stress is hard.
So today, I’m sharing a 6-step process for dealing with stress: the S-T-R-E-S-S formula to build more calm and peace into your life, even if the things that are stressing you out don’t change.

Episode 76 // Communication can be hard work. But it’s the centerpiece of great family relationships! And if passive aggressive behavior is present in your relationship, you simply cannot build the intimacy and closeness that you really want.
When we struggle with mom anger, fear of conflict, or anxiety about our relationships, it can be easy to fall back on a passive aggressive communication style. This never actually solves the problem!
In today’s episode, we’re looking at not only what passive aggressive behavior looks and sounds like, but why it happens and practical steps to stop. We want to replace it with healthy communication and deeper relationships.

Episode 75.5 // Friday Faith Followup
I spend a lot of time taking care of my home. The clutter is frustrating, the chores never seems to end, and nothing stays clean for more than five minutes.
And yet, this is the home God has given me. This home takes care of the people whom I love the most.
But does my home reflect God’s Kingdom? Does my attitude toward my home and the way I use my home honor God?
Join me today for a brief reflection on how our homes (and all the “stuff” in them!) impact the Kingdom, and find encouragement and hope for the clutter (or cleanliness!) of your home.

Episode 75 // I’m guessing that it is important to you that your family enjoys a peaceful home life. That you want everyone to feel comfortable in your home. That you want to be able to look around the kitchen and the living room and everything in between and have a sense of satisfaction that things are going well for your family.
Well, my friend, that means we have to take care of our home! Most of us wind up spending a LOT of time cleaning, decluttering, organizing, and dealing with the daily grind of home maintenance.

Today is a devotional reflection on the GOODNESS of Good Friday, of God’s plans, and of his timing. Join me for a word of encouragement, and find his hope in the middle of whatever mess you’re going through.
