Episode 114 // How important is it to you to enjoy family life? To feel connected with your Christian family, comfortable in your home, and at peace with those who are most important to you?
It’s almost a trick question, friend. I know it is WILDLY important to you! (Why else would you be checking out this podcast episode??)
As a Christian mom, struggling lately with finding joy and peace in my own home life, I’ve been reading through the proverbs to find wisdom and encouragement. And I’ve been blown away by Proverbs 14:1.
“A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.” (NLT)
Want to enjoy home life? Join me today to dive into what it really looks like to build our homes well, like the wise woman here of Proverbs 14:1.
Let’s dive in.
hugs & blessings,
Jess

Episode 113 // No one enjoys making difficult decisions. But they are a necessary part of Christian family life! And sometimes, the things we want and plan don’t wind up lining up with what God seems to be asking us to do.
Those decisions are not easy. They typically aren’t fun. But when our deepest goal is to follow Jesus alongside our family and do what is truly best for them, it sometimes means making decisions that put a hold on our personal desires or plans.
Hard stuff. Important stuff. So how do you go about making these difficult decisions? How do you move forward when there might be some disappointment? That’s what we’re talking about today.
Let’s dive in.
hugs & blessings,
Jess

(F3) Why “I’ll Pray For You” Is A Powerful Thing
Friday Jan 13, 2023
Friday Jan 13, 2023
Episode 112.5 // Friday Faith Followup
How often have you heard people say “I’ll pray for you”? Yes, there are prayer warriors who genuinely go home and put your situation on their prayer list and they take it before the Lord regularly. But is that the norm?
Is that how we really pray for each other? Or is your experience more like mine… that “I’ll pray for you” is just a cliche way to end a conversation, at best followed up with a quick prayer later on when you actually remember what was said.
As we’ve looked at this week, prayer is powerful. Prayer is action. Prayer matters. And so today, let’s challenge each other to be more genuine in how we pray for others. Let’s encourage each other to deepen this area of our lives, for our good and the good of others.
Let’s dive in.
hugs & blessings,
Jess

Eek. Well, one of my goals for this new year is to develop a lifestyle of more consistent and robust prayer. But why? Why does prayer really matter as a busy Christian mom?
That’s where we’re going today, my friend. We’re taking a look at the power of prayer and its impact on our everyday busy lives.
Let’s dive in.

Friday Jan 06, 2023
Episode 111.5 // Friday Faith Followup
You’ve probably set some helpful goals for the new year. A few things that you want to change, or grow in, or experience.
And yet, you know that the Bible tells us that God is ultimately the one in charge. So do your goals really matter? Do your action plans make a difference? How do your schedule, your habits, and your plans line up against the reality of God’s plans and purposes?
Spoiler alert… your plans do matter. But we have to approach them in the right way. Let’s look at Proverbs 16 together for encouragement and help along the journey.
hugs & blessings,
